Quote of the week-

“For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others; for beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness; and for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone.”

My top 5 vintage/fake vintage actors

Ok you've seen the girls, now here come the men.

1. Clark Gable
Nicknamed the "king of hollywood" and for good reason. This man sure knew his theatre, again proved with his many oscars and being named "seventh greatest male star of all time."

2. Fred Astaire
Named 5th greatest male star of all time, worked on broadway, 31 musical films, was a singer, choreographer and actor. Talent literally flowed out of this man like a river to the sea. Even more so, he won a bunch of academy awards as well. Could this man get any better?

3. Marlon Brando
There was no better godfather. Fourth greatest male star of all time, and in the Time's Top 100: The most important people of the century. From remembering Mama to The Godfather, Marlon Brando will always be one of the best actors to cross the silver screen.

4. Frank Sinatra

There's some people that just have to be included, and after seeing performances such as Young At Heart, and From Here To Eternity you sure see the man was stuffed with talent. I'd gladly be one of those many bobby soxers just for his pure raw talent.

5. William Powell
A man of utmost sophistication, and cynical portrayals, nominated 3 times for an academy award, William Powell was a must to include on this list. Movies of his to be checked out, My Man Godfrey, The Thin Man, Life With Father and How To Marry A Millionare.

Top 5 Fake-Vintage Actors

1. Johnny Depp
From finding Neverland to fighting off the fbi, Johnny Depp replicates his decades right down to the tiniest habits. Nominated for an academy award for his portrayal of Finding Neverland and a thousand other of his period or decade movies, Johnny is by far my favourite actor.

2. George Clooney
I gave him number two simply for his amazing performances in the movies "O Brother Where Art Thou?" and "The Rat Pack" This man is just unbelievable when it comes to his acting ability. Definately  deserving this spot.

3. Leonardo Di Caprio
Yes before you ask, I am one of those girls with the virus of "leo-mania" and I am thoroughly proud :). I'm giving this "award" of third place for roles such as the Titanic in which he shows his amazing acting skills at a pretty young age. Flash forward to today, Shutter Island, a movie based in the fifties and how he takes it flawlessly. I am thus proud to put him as third in my top 5 fake-vintage actors.

4. Tom Hanks
Forrest Gump.....need I say more? One of the most beloved movies to ever appear on the silver screen, it is a movie that will go down in history I am sure of it. Tom plays Forrest perfectly and I'm sure you all know that. :) And it gets better, look at Saving Private Ryan, based in WWII and the Green Mile.

5. John Trovolta
John-Travolta---Grease-Photograph-C.jpg image by JWnPoohAhh Grease, one of the best musicals of all time and how John simply owns Danny. None of this Justin Bieber playing him, Danny shall always be John Trovolta. A classic movie and a classic star, John shall always be everyones greaser.

Well they're my top ten, what about you?
